① 姓名。介紹自己姓名時，發音一定要準(南方考生要多加註意)。

② 年齡。年齡可以跟在姓名後帶過(I am XXX, 25 years old)。

③ 原來的院校、專業。注意：一定要把原來學校的英文名稱、專業的英文名稱弄清楚(尤其是跨校、跨專業的學生)。 所屬的公司、職位。注意：在職考生則應將自己公司、自己職位/職稱的英文名稱弄明白。

④ 性格、能力。可以着重強調你的個性對你報考的專業有何積極的'作用。如果報考的是學術性的專業，可以説自己細心(carefully，detail-oriented)、條理分明(logical)、踏實(steady)等;如果是研究性、應用性更強一點的專業，可以説自己負責(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。
