2015年8月2日至6日，在德國柏林舉行的國際翻譯家聯盟第20屆世界翻譯大會上，由中國譯協推薦的我國著名文學翻譯家、北京大學教授許淵衝先生榮獲國際翻譯界最高獎項之一——“北極光”傑出文學翻譯獎，成為該獎項自1999年設立以來首位獲此榮譽的亞洲翻譯家。
