　　解定語從句題得先搞清以下四個問題：

1、定語從句的作用相當於形容詞，用來修飾主句中的某一名詞或代詞或整個主句。

2、被定語從句修飾的詞叫先行詞，定語從句一般要放在先行詞之後(as 引導的'除外)。

3、用來引導定語從句的詞可分為關係代詞(that, which, who,whose, whom, as)和關係副詞(when, where, why)兩大類(注意沒有 what)。

4、關係代詞一定要在定語從句中充當句子成分，如主語、賓語、定語等，關係副詞在定語從句中作狀語。

　　解題要遵循3個步驟：

1、根據題乾結構和選擇項判斷從句類型是不是定語從句

2、分析定語從句中所缺的句子成分，如主語賓語狀語等

3、根據先行詞和所缺句子成分來選擇關係代詞還是副詞

根據題乾和選項可判斷本題考查定語從句。

分析句子結構：Those successful deaf dancers think 是主句;

that dancing is an activity _______ sight matters more than hearing 是賓語從句;

賓語從句中的 sight matters more than hearing 是定語從句，修飾先行詞 activity。

定語從句中有主語 sight(視覺)，且謂語 matter 為不及物動詞，不需要賓語，因此，先否定作主語或賓語的 which 選項，同時也否定作定語的 whose 選項。

由於 activity 在這裏不是指時間，因此否定 when 選項。

又由於在 dancing 這個活動中 sight 才 matters more than hearing，所以先行詞 an activity 相當於抽象的地點，因此需用關係副詞where(= in which)，本題的意思是：
