與老外聊電影標準英語口語10句

　　 kind of movies do you like? 你喜歡看什麼樣的電影？

What kind of意思就是“什麼類型的”，我們可以説What kind of candies do you like?

你喜歡吃什麼樣的糖果？

注意，當kind of單獨連用的時候，意思是“一點”，表示程度，

例如：I'm kind of hungry. I didn't eat breakfast this morning.我早上沒吃，現在有點餓了。

2. Recently, I have been infatuated with horror movies. 最近我迷上了恐怖電影。

be infatuated with 是“入迷”的意思，除了用with，還可以用by這個介詞，

例如：You can see he's infatuated by her he was all over her at the party.

你能看出來他被她迷住了--在聚會上他一直向她獻殷勤。

stars in that film? 那部電影的主角是誰？

star作名詞的時候，可以表示“明星”，例如：Jay Chou is a pop star.周杰倫是個明星。

在這裏star用作動詞，有“表演”的意思，英語中有很多遮掩，既可以作名詞，又可以作動詞的詞，例如：book, schedule等等；

4. The movie has been hyped up far beyond its worth. 這部電影被吹得太離譜了。

hype是“大肆宣傳，炒作”的意思，通常用作名詞，

例如：The public are not fooled by all the hype the press gave the event.

新聞界言過其實的種種報道並沒有愚弄得了公眾。

這裏的 up是一個詞組，意思是“使 ... 熱烈起來”，

例如：She was so hyped up about his son's mischief that some feared she might blow all the fuses.

他兒子的惡作劇使她太受刺激，因此有人擔心她會大發雷霆。

5. This movie is worth seeing. 這部電影值得一看。

be worth doing something意思就是“值得做某事”，

例如：This book is worth reading.

這本書值得一看。

6. Some horror movies may scare you to death. 有些恐怖電影能把你嚇個半死。

scare sb. to death “把某人嚇死”，英語中有很多這樣的表達，例如: beat to death 毆打致死，starce to death 餓死，等等；大家可以多用用，這些説起來更加生動；

7. Do you like horror movies? 你喜歡恐怖電影嗎？

horror有“恐怖，恐懼”的意思，

如：The news struck him with horror.

那消息使他震驚。

8. I love horror movies the most. 我最喜歡看恐怖電影。

love ... the most “最喜歡……”，例如：Among all these toys, I love the bear the most.在所有的玩具中，我最喜歡小熊。

except for是短語介詞，意思是“除了……”，被除去的部分通常是前面的整體的一部分，
