雅思口語測驗的技巧

第一階段

您一般會被問及關於您的背景和考IELTS考試的原因。您應對這類問題做好準備,在第一階段表現的要求包括:

1)在輕鬆友善的態度下介紹自己;

2)用簡單,準確而流利的言語提供您自己的基本資料;

3)表現給面試官知道您願意表達自己和您有很多有趣的事要告訴他。

應做和不應做的事

應做的事

1)保持微笑和保持眼神接觸;

2)當和麪試官握手的時候,用力一點以表誠意;

3)清淅和詳細地回答;

4)大方的談及自己的事情和經驗以控制場面;

5)測驗前多練習,以肯定您能準確運用過去式等等的語法。

不應做的事

1)不要告訴面試官您很緊張,也不要眨眼太多和眼珠有太多移動;

2)握手時不要讓面試官以為自己在握着一條死魚;

3)不要讓對話在短句中中止;

4)當面試官期望您進一步説明,不要隨便停下;

5)有語法錯誤時不要害怕,應鎮定地更正,但在口語考試中,流利度絕對比語法準確度重要。

建議用字和用句

試熟練以下句子:

第二階段

當面試官要求您詳細回答一些事情時,您應察覺第二部分已經開始了。通常題目會是關於您的興趣,您的工作和您的學業。您也許會被問及一件事的過程,一件物件如何運作或一項遊戲的規則等等。想在第二階段有好的表現,您應該能做到以下幾點:

1)不需面試官太多提示而流利地講出個人見解;

2)能流利解釋,描述或説明一件事情的發生;

3)表現出您願意討論這個題目,就算您對它不熟悉,您也可圍繞着這個題目發揮。

應做和不應做的事

應做的事

1)開始回答時,先表示自己對題目的看法;

2)您起碼要想到至少兩個值得討論的要點;

3)在正式開始講解前,先説明您會提到的要點;

4)對不認識的`題目,您可嘗試猜測。用“maybe”,“perhaps”等字會比什麼也不説好。

不應做的事

1)不要説您不懂這個題目或您從來未想過這些事情;

2)當您聽不明白問題時,不用擔心,您可要求面試官重覆一次;

3)不要離題。否則面試官會以為您聽不明白題目;

4)不要等面試官問問題,要表現出您有能力討論題目而不需任何提示幫助。

In my opinion there are three ways of looking at it:

First of all, ... Next, ... Then, ...

Would you like me to tell you more about ...?

Is that all you’d like to know?

I’m afraid that’s about as much as I know.

I think that’s about it.

I can’t think of anything else right now ...

第三階段

當面試官要求您問他/她一些問題來收集資料時,您知道第三階段已經開始。這可以算是一種角色扮演遊戲。想在這個階段取得高分,您必須做到以下幾點:

1)明白自己角色的處境並知道自己需要什麼資料;

2)控制局面,問的問題必須能發掘最多的資料或能解決某些問題;

3)在面試官給您的一些卡片中選用一些準確和適合的問題發問。

應做和不應做的事

應做的事

1)肯定自己完全明白自己所扮演的角色和處境;

2)將過程分開3部分:設定背景,詢問問題和説“Thank you”和“Goodbye”;

3)在角色扮演前先説明您的角色和您想知道什麼;

4)儘量問多些問題發掘所有資料,您至少需問10條問題。

不應做的事

1)當您對狀況不肯定的時候,不要勉強假裝自己明白,您可以請面試官再重覆一次;

2)在未設定背景前不要開始問卡片上的問題。儘量令對話顯得自然;

3)不要在題目上找些字眼來組成問題,題目的作用只是一個起首的介紹,它有時並不能組成自然流暢的問題;

4)除非題目要求,不要問任何個人問題。

MOVIES AT THE CINEMA

The examiner is a friend who has a part-time job selling tickets at the local cinema. Find out as much as you can about the movies showing this week.

第四階段

在第四階段,您會被要求更詳細地講出您的未來計劃。面試官會將話題帶向關於您將來的一些計劃,如您想有好的表現,您必須用到以下幾點:

1)詳細地談及您的未來計劃(通常是關於您的工作或學業),避免需要面試官太多提示;

2)詳細討論什麼事情會或不會發生,講出您對將來會發生的不同事物的看法;

3)用簡單的語言講出複雜的意思。

應做和不應做的事

應做的事:

1)預先計劃説話的方式,應如何將您的未來計劃表達出來;

2)準備所有可能的wh/how問題(即what, why, which, where, when, how等等)的答案;

3)適合的句子和語法的表達;

4)對深奧的問題,您可嘗試推測,儘量用簡單的英語表達深奧的意思,不要隨便放棄作答。

不應做的事:

1)不要回答得太簡單。例如,被問及您的工作計劃時,千萬不要只回答“我畢業後便到一間公司裏作”。您可説出公司名稱,您可想象您的職位;

2)不要用太多“will”這個字,在英語詞彙中有很多字都可用來表達將來的事。“will”這個字太確定,不適合用在計劃上。

第五階段(總結)

在第四階段完成後,口語測驗差不多已完結。在第五階段,面試官會感謝您的來臨和總結整個面試,您也應該多謝他/她和在臨走前説再見。

應做和不應做的事

應做的事:

1)繼續保持輕鬆態度直至離開面試室;

2)有力地、有信心地握手並道謝面試官;

3)請記着,最後印象和第一印象同樣重要。您可在臨走前這樣説:“Thank you very much for your time. I enjoyed talking with you. Goodbye.”。

不應做的事:

1)千萬不要在測驗完成後對面試官説您有多高興考試已完成,您也不應在面試官面前評論自己的表現;

2)不要問考試官您的成績,他/她是一定不會説的;

3)不要表現過分熱情,您只需保持微笑地離開便可。
