psychologist tell us that stress is a state of worry caused by the problem of living , such as too much work or study , heavy responsibilities , and quickened pace of life .

statistics show that stress comes from every detail in our life . financial problems , poor health , being laid off may be the stress that most adults now suffering . as students in the university , we are also under our special stress . while study , having to take various tests and submit a project against a deadline may put a great pressure on us . and the things make us felt stressed may be our parents’s greater expectations on us than we could reach . later , when we are likely to graduate , some other problems will also annoy us . i think we will worry a lot about our ability to compete in the job market and how we can best use what we’ve learned at college in our future job .

the chief problem we should face to is our atitude towards stress le usually say they can not live in the sun except they escape from stress . it’s unwelcome ! yes , however , very necessary . just image a world where stress does not exist and people lead their life in a very comfortable way . but is this kind of living condition as perfect as we hope ? without stress , they may feel very satisfied with the current life but lack of power to discover new things . too much satisfaction result in nothing except a countermarch of the society . no stress , no development . so a certain amount of stress is good . it can stimulate us and increase our level of alertness .

and our answer to stress is another vital problem . how to do with ourselves when stress suddenly break into our life ? to wave the white flag and admit our unability , to give up to our ideality , or worstly , just to suicide as to put an end to everything … of cause not . the principle is to tackle with stress gentlely and harmoniously. we should try our best to release ourselves . such as to do some exercise , to linsen to traditional chinese music or classical music to ease our minds and to learn to view these changes of life as challenges ’s no use crying over spilt milk . only to accept what has happened can solve the problem .

ok , i think i was under large stress 3 minutes before , but now i am here and have finished my speech . here is the last thing i want to add to my topic ,face to it and overcome it ,stress is also a piece of cake .

what is peer pressure?we all have an idea what that for those who don't i will explain it,peer pressure is when you are encouraged by friends and people your own age to do something that you do not feel completely comfortable with.

什麼是同齡人壓力?我們都知道這個概念.我今天要給不太明白的在坐講講關於同齡人壓力.它是當你受到來自朋友或者你同齡人的鼓勵讓你去做某事,然而你並不是特別樂意去做這件事.

some may disagree with me but peer pressure is not always a bad can help in many different example,most teenagers get pressured into getting good grades or to push themselves to take chances and that's what we need to have in our lives.a little extra something to help us build up our self-confidence.

也許有人不太同意我,但是同齡人壓力有時候並不是壞事.它可以在很多不同的事情上對人產生幫助.例如:許多青少年要求自己取得好成績或者迫使自己得到機會,這就是我們生活中所需要的好一一面.可以建立我們自信的那麼一點點小事情.

this pressure can also be a bad as it helps to push us to do well it can damage the emotional health of a person as an example,when you are hanging out with some friends and they begin to smoke.

How to Cope With Stress in College

Do you have difficulty in breathing? Do you usually lose your sleep? Do you feel irritable recently? And whether you have a headache and cold palms or not? If so, it proves that you are stressful recently, therefore you should know how to relieve stress. Today, my topic is how to cope with stress in college.

College life can be very stressful. Although stress is a normal sense for everyone, it’s difficult to make a balance between the two extremes. First of all, we should figure out the sources of stress. The competition for grades, the need to perform, interpersonal relationship, career choice and many other aspects of the college environment cause stress. These factors are connected with our family, peers and society. Almost every student has to face stress of exams, as for us, we must consider some tests about our major, for instance, CET-6 and TEM-8. And the majority of us should accept the stress from family. Our parents all hope that we can get a good job after graduation, they keeping reminding us of the significance of the future job no matter how hard we work in college. We also have stress from peers who try their very best to study, hence we must keeping moving in order not to lag behind them.

But before condemning stress outright, we need to understand that stress is only harmful when it is excessive. Some of the stress that we all experience is helpful and stimulating. The challenges of life tend to be

stressful and an attempt to avoid stress completely would lead to a rather boring existence. After realizing the causes of stress, we can manage them by means of balancing the two extremes. Maybe we can communicate with our parents and seek understanding and support from them. Besides, we can take part in outdoor activities. If necessary, we can put ourselves in nature temporarily and then we can forget something stressful.

Proper stress is the power of ma-ki-ng progress,developing a balanced lifestyle,gaining ideas by discussing problems with other students or teachers,building a sense of life meaning and ma-ki-ng stress stepping-stone in the way of success can help you relieve your stress in college.
