動詞不定式作定語、狀語、表語

1.動詞不定式作定語。

不定式常可用於修飾人，也可以用來修飾物，或跟在不定式後作定語

May is the first student to arrive. 阿美是第一個到的'學生。

I have a lot of things to do today. 今天我有很多事情要做。

Would you like something to drink? 你想喝點什麼?

It's time to go to bed. 該睡覺了。

2.動詞不定式作狀語。

不定式作狀語的情況很多，主要有be+形容詞+不定式

She was eager to see her friends. 她急於見她的朋友們。

I am afraid to tell her. 我很怕告訴她。

I am not ready to go back. 我還不準備回去。

3.動詞不定式作表語。

不定式位於系動詞如be之後用來説明主語的身份、特徵、屬性或狀態

Her ambition was to be a star. 她的志向是當明星。

My task is to take care of my little brother. 我的任務是照顧弟弟。
