In recent years, tourism has been popular and played an important role in our nation’s economic growth. However, I am afraid that if tourism develops over, it will bring harm to the environment and give rise to many problems.

There are a few reasons accounting for my views and I would like to list three of them. One of the examples is that a large number of woods and other plants were replaced by all kinds of accommodation facilities or scenic spots. That definitely breaks the ecological balance of these areas and destroys the natural beauty of the scenic spots. Worse still, more pressure has been placed environment protection in that many tourists left their garbage in the scenic spots. In addition, over-developed tourism will occupy large numbers of farmland and lead to the shortage of the land.

In a word, tourism will be harmful to our environment if it is over development. Thus, I do not advocate that we development tourism without considering the environment. And we should keep the balance between tourism development and environment protection so that we can achieve the sustainable development between our nation’s economy and the environment.

Plans for My Seven-Day Journey abroad

This time, the main destination is Australia, a country which is in the Southern Hemisphere. I want to feel the opposite climate, see never-seen scenery and experience the land and its people and live a quite new life for 7 days.

So I have chosen a travel agent to help me with my journey. They offer Qantas flights the entire journey with free meals and three-star or four-star hotels for accommodation.

The first day:

I will take the Qantas Airways non-stop international flight (QF106) to Sydney, the capital of South Wales and Australia’s oldest largest city and port, to star the trip to Australia, overnight on board.

The second day:

Upon arrival, I will take a bus to visit St. Mary’s Church, Hyde Park and other interests. Then, I will visit the world-famous, Australia’s most beautiful building----the Sydney Opera House. There will be professionals conducting a detailed explanation in the House. By the

evening, I can visit the well-known Darling Harbor; enjoy the Sydney Bridge and a western-style dinner on board.

The third day:

After the breakfast, I will start from Sydney to Wollongong by bus. We drive to the Sea Cliff Bridge, the most beautiful and special part along the road. I can visit in accordance with steep cliffs and built up to 655 meters of overhead bridges to appreciate the beauty of the Pacific. Then I’d go to the cleanest beach of the New South Wales State; visit the first brewery in Wollongong and have lunch there. In the afternoon, I plan to go to Flagstaff Hill and enjoy the quiet and beautiful environment. At last, return to the urban area.

The forth day:

I will take a flight to Cairns, a city which is rounded by palm trees. It’s a tourist city, where there are magnificent mountains, dense rain forests. The forests are the world’s oldest, largest tropical rain forest. I can novel amphibious vehicles traveling around the forests, experience exotic enjoyment. What’s more, I can watch the indigenous people’s wonderful dance performance.

The fifth day:

Take a bus to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Terminal and take a ship to the world-famous Reef. Located off the coast of the north-eastern Australia, it is the world’s largest coral island, which stretches over 20xxkm, including thousands of coral reefs and shoals, known as “the eighth wonder of the world”. I would watch the colorful sea view, taking a submarine. And I have enough time to enjoy a wide range of water sports. (Including a buffet lunch on the island)

The sixth day:

I would fly to the capital of Queensland----Brisbane. Then I’ll take a visit to the South Bank Parkland where the 1988 world exposition had been held. Go to the City Hall located in the King George

Square. It is the central symbol of Brisbane. Then I will drive to the Gold Coast, which is known as a paradise for tourists. After arrival, I’d visit the Fool Terminal.

The seventh day (the last day):

After breakfast, I will go to the Warner Movie World, which is a theme park of an area of 1.68 square kilometers. I can enjoy the

roller coaster and see a different film production process, great

effects and super performance and a lot of cartoon characters. Then I will go to a farm to pay a visit. There I can experience a real farm life and get close to the koala, kangaroo and take photos with the cute creatures. (I need to pay for the lunch.) At last, I will take the QF505 to Sydney and the QF105 back to Hangzhou.

It is my plan to have a journey abroad. It will cost about 12000 RMB for the agency and I need another sum of money to support my self-consumption and other costs. Now I am excited about my upcoming travel to the very place that I have longed for for a long long time. I can not wait to go there my well-prepared plan, I firmly believe that I will have a wonderful journey in Australia.

yalong bay national tourism resort is the sanyas premier destination. it centers on a crescent-shaped beach of about 7,000m. the sea off the beach is so clear that visibility can reach almost 8 meters, making it ideal for divers attracted to the nearby coral reef.

the end of the earth

the end of the earth, named tianya haijiao in chinese, means the edge of the sky and

北京三日遊 A Three-day Tour to Beijing

Last month I went to Beijing to visit one of my friends, because we haven’t seen each other for about two years and I got a holiday meanwhile. It is my first time to visit Beijing, which is always the dream city for all the Chinese. All the information about the city came from the books and TV, now I could see and get know of it by myself, how excited I am!

上個月我去北京看望我的一個朋友，因為我們有將近兩年沒見，而我剛好有假期。這是我第一次遊覽北京，這座全中國人都向往的城市。我對北京的所以認知都來自電視和書本，而現在我有機會親自來看這個城市、來了解她。我多麼地興奮！

There were so many tourist areas in my plan list, like Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Perking University and so on. However, due to my short holiday I only visit several places of my list, with my friend’s companion. I will take a long tour to Beijing next time if I have the chance.在我的旅遊計劃表上，我羅列許多要去的地方，如天安門廣場，紫禁城，長城，北京大學等等。然而由於假期太短，朋友只陪我參觀了計劃表上的幾個地方而已。如果有機會，我下次一定會到這來個長期旅遊。

There are varied ways of defining tourism. Some people regard it as a pollution-free industry; others think of it an invisible school, Both are based on an accepted fact that tourism cannot only produce profits bearing no pollution along with, but help broaden knowledge and fortify healthy. Coming from vadous social backgrounds, having motives and goals of every kind, tourists get together, draw close and exchange ideas of their own, from which a fresh state of mind will be created. So what kind of production is it? To the question we should have good reason to give a proper answer: it is a spirit production, a reproduction of relations of production. And the more frequently such exchanges are made, the more good they will do to promoting social and economic development of the mutual. If it is the case that making money through tourism means a dent we have made, so it foretells a fortune to provide cultural service along with tourism. Therefore, to keep close eyes on the latter involves changing our minds first, that is, tourism is by no means a pure economic concept, but takes plenty of ideological activities as its content.

To sum up, unlike other economic forms, the profits from tourism economy cannot be measured completely by means of how much output value, profit, and foreign exchange it will produce. In addition to the reputation of pollution-free industry, its social and far-reaching profit should be probed more deeply. As such the existing scenic spots ought to be kept in good maintenance, and some new ones exploited. Moreover, constructing first-class soft and hard surroundings is desired to attract tourists, the foreign and the domestic。

st summer holiday, I took a trip to Yunnan. It is in the southern part of our country is really a very beautiful place grand mountains, clean rivers and kind people. Trees and flowers are seen everywhere. Every year there are lots and lots of e you have heard about Shi Lin (stone forests). There are all kinds of strange stones. Some of the small stones look like graceful girls; and the big stones look like handsome men. Other stones look like cats, peafowls, double-edged swords, mice,

elephants and so on. Of all the stones, the stone like a beautiful girl in a legend is the most famous name is A Shima.

I also went to Li Jiang. The roads in that city are just like the Eight Diagrams. Any road in the city goes to the center of Li Jiang. A river runs through the whole city. If you go along the river, you'll never get lost. There are many ethnic minority people in Yunnan. They are very cordial. And they all like singing and dancing. We danced with them around the campfire that night. I really had a good time.

I like the elephants and fruits there best. An elephant is even taller than me! I even mounted the elephant, though I was very afraid at first. But the elephant seemed very friendly. I took some photos with it. The fruits there are very fresh and delicious. They are very good for our health.

The trip to Yunnan impressed me GREatly. I will never forget it.

In last summer vacation ,I went to Beijing with my family. First ,we went to the Great Wall,where we met a lot of foreigners and we also took a lot of photos. They all like our culture and beautiful senery. went to the summer palace ,where the previous emporers spent summer in the old d, we went to the Forbidden City lly ,we went to Wangfujing Street where we tasted much delicious food.

In a word, we had a great time during the vacation and we leanred a lot from this tour.
