A crow felt very thirsty. He looked for water everywhere. Finally, he found a pitcher. But there was not a lot of water in the pitcher. His beak could not reach it. He tried again and again, but still could not touch the water. When he was about to give up, an idea came to him. He took a pebble and dropped it into the pitcher. Then he took another and dropped it in. Gradually, the water rose, and the crow was able to drink the water.

Some people see it as a win-win situation. On the one hand, celebrities can share their successful stories with students, which can broaden students’ horizon and inspire them to work harder. On the other hand, being visiting professors of universities, the celebrities can make themselves known to more people. However, other people disapprove this practice. They argue that universities’ attention of inviting celebrities to be professors is to enhance the schools’ fame instead of improving the quality of education, and some celebrities are not qualified to be professors.

In my view, just as a coin has two sides, the inviting of celebrities as guest professors has both good and bad effects. Thus I think colleges should evaluate the possible results thoroughly, and their choices should be based on the improvement of teaching standards and students’ development.

今年暑假，媽媽為我報了英語班，是由黑人老外擔任我們的英語老師。我高興極了，心想：跟老外學英語，真是個新鮮事。於是我迫不及待地想要見見黑人老外長什麼樣！

這一天終於來臨了，一走進教室，只見老師穿着一件白色T恤衫和一條黑色牛仔褲，真是cool！不過他的皮膚真夠黑，像是塗了一層漆。他好像很喜歡我們這羣可愛的中國孩子，一直對我們保持微笑，兩個深深的酒渦真好看，還有那一排排整齊的牙齒，在黑皮膚的`襯托下顯得格外白。他對我們真的很友好！第一天上課就對我們説：“where are china,where are the best!”意思就是我們是中國人，我們是最棒的！我想老師的意思大概是讓大家明白，做一箇中國人感到很自豪！要努力！他上課真的很有趣！記得每節課他都會教我們一首兒歌，為了讓我們學得輕鬆，老師根據兒歌內容自編了許多不同的動作，有時撅屁股，有時扭扭腰，有時晃胳膊，有時抖動腿，那時我們很興奮得跟他一起做，老師學生融為一體，他更像我們的大哥哥，真可愛！因為我積極發言，老師很欣賞我，所以他經常高高地豎起大拇指，露出他最燦爛的笑容，對我説：“good！”我開心極了！

他對我們真的很有耐心！課堂上他能做到讓每一個孩子輕鬆回答問題，可以大膽地開口説英語，讓我們感受到原來學英語並不難，就算問題回答錯了也沒有關係，老師依然對我們很温和，他會耐心地一遍一遍地教，一直教會為止。

跟老外已學了一個星期的英語，我覺得很愉快，我希望有一天自己能像他一樣説一口標準而又流利的英語！
