這幾天吶，爺爺迷上英語了，要來我預備級的書，準備自學成材。真不知道爺爺是三分鐘熱度還是真的想學，反正每天都讀，也不知道跟誰學的。不對，爺爺的記性一點都不好，怎麼記住的？你聽——又開始讀了，我得看看。

“apple、computer、china、one那叫啥d來着，唉，我這記性。”

“oneworld.”

我一聽，不對，怎麼變音了？我一瞧，笑得直不起腰，書上寫的都是不着邊的漢語，爺爺知道這是不對的，聳聳肩，撇撇嘴，我説：“這都是跟誰學的，不能這樣。不如我教你吧。”爺爺高興得直點頭，於是，我正式上任了。

我看爺爺學音標也晚了，就教趣味記憶法：“爺爺，你看‘computer’這個中c的像一把椅子，o像一個人，m像一台電腦,後面的可以拼出來，p念漢語拼音裏的p，u年漢語拼音的`u，拼一下，ter也同樣拼出來。這樣不但好記，還好拼寫，這就是趣味記憶法。”

爺爺笑着摸了摸我的頭，又埋頭練習了。

老爸是我最佩服的人，我佩服他學習英語的刻苦精神。

爸爸滿臉的青春痘，但絲毫不影響他的帥氣，一張國字臉上有一雙炯炯有神的大眼睛，挺拔的鼻樑，和一張能説會道的嘴巴。

老爸學習英語有一個最大的困難，就是容易遺忘。為了記住更多的英語單詞，老爸苦思冥想，終於想到了一個好辦法，他幾乎把家裏所有的東西上都貼滿了紙條，紙條上寫着相應的英語單詞。這樣，老爸在拿什麼東西的時候，就會把這個單詞念出來。長時間後，老爸果然記住了很多單詞。

這就是我的愛學英語的老爸。

I was only nine years old when I learnt how to use a computer. My mother is my first teacher. I know how to type, how to copy a file, and how to visit a web site on the Internet. One day, mom was not at home. I turned on the computer and began to learn how to chat on net.

The first one I met there was a boy called Tom. He greeted me politely. When he knew that I was only a 9-year-old girl, and almost knew nothing about chatting on net,he started showing me how to use the chatting tools, how to download, and how to send e-mails. I learnt a lot from him.

I have a dream, when I grow up, I want to be a singer. Since I saw the TV show Supergirl, I was attracted by their wonderful voices, I want to be one of them, singing the beautiful songs, and let people watch at me. I like singing so much now, I will sing now and then, I can remember many songs. Singing brings me so much happiness.

Nowadays, going abroad for studies is enjoying a striking popularity among adolescents. Importance should be attached to studying abroad.

There are a great many advantages of studying overseas. First and foremost, living and studying abroad offers students a different perspective of the world. On a university campus, international students are likely to encounter their counterparts from various countries and areas and are exposed to diverse ideas and values. What is more, overseas experience is the best opportunity for the real-life use of foreign languages. There is no better opportunity to improve second-language skills than living in the country in which it is spoken.

Generally peaking, it is my view that although going abroad is expensive and perhaps painful, the payoff is worthwhile. In the first place, in addition to knowledge, overseas students can gain precious experiences that those who stay at home will never have. Furthermore, overseas experience, frustrating and painful as it may be, is conducive to the growth of adolescents.

One afternoon when my uncle and I were lying on the beach listening to MP3, we suddenly heard someone was crying for jumped up quickly, and saw a little boy waving his hands in the uncle took off his shirt at once and jumped into the swam fast to the little boy, and took him back to the beach at last.I had never thought he was such a good swimmer!
