基本詞彙：

look:是常用詞, 指“注意或有意識地看”。 強調動作，常用短語look at,have a look at.

Example:

He looked but saw nothing.他看了, 但什麼也沒看見。

read:看報紙，看書等時用read

Example:

My fahter always reads magazines after dinner.

see:強調看的結果，常用句型：see sb. do sth.(看到某人做某事，強調過程，看到了事情的整個經過。see sb. doing sth.(看到某人正在做某事，看到某事正在發生）。

Example:

I saw her playing a tennis match. (part of the process部分過程)

I saw her play a tennis match.(the entire process完整過程)

watch:聚精會神的看，觀察。用法與see基本一樣。

Example:

She sat and watched the children play.她坐下來看着孩子們玩耍。

sight:此詞與視力和視覺有關，意指察看或視野。

Example:

進階詞彙：

gaze: 凝視，注視，指由於好奇、感歎、長時間目不轉睛地看。

Example:

glimpse與glance意思相近，短促地看一眼，一瞥。

Example:
