細節題主要是指用Wh-問題的形式對短文中有關人名、地名、時間、原因、數據、目的、年代等提出的問題，有時也包括是非判斷題。由於是對細節的考查，這類題也有一定的難度。答題時除了要把握準有關細節信息，還要聽清提問的角度和具體要求。這類提問方式不拘一格，依考查的內容而異，主要有以下幾種形式：

According to the passage, when/where/who/what/why/how did...?

Which of the following adjectives best describes...?

Which of the following (statements)is true/ not true?

Which of the following is mentioned/not mentioned?

細節題以辨認題居多。有可能幾個選項在文章中都有所提及，但只要仔細聽，注意分別，就能在原文中找到各自的出處。

此類題型要求考生對聽到的內容進行整體的把握和全面的領會。任何一段對話或獨白都是圍繞一箇中心展開的，有時主旨大意較明顯，有時則需要歸納。

What are the two speakers talking about?

What are the two speakers doing?

What is the talk/dialogue about?

What’s the topic of the passage?

聽力考題要求考生聽清、聽懂事實信息，精確理解具體細節、特殊信息，如時間、地點、人物、價錢、數量、原因、目的、結果等，同時還要對所聽到的信息作簡單的處理，比如數字的運算、時間順序、比較篩選、同義轉換、因果關係、深層推理等。理解具體信息有助於把握話題內容、領會説話者意圖。

常見的考查細節題的提問方式有：

When should...?

What is...?

How does the man...?

Where is the woman going?

Which of the following is right/ture?

Why did the speaker...?

學會分析問題之間的聯繫和背景知識的綜合應用

考生應當在聽力開始之前，瀏覽試卷上的選項，特別是仔細分析幾道題之間的聯繫，並根據常識、背景知識進行積極地預測。

顧名思義，主旨大意題要求考生在聽懂短文的基礎上歸納出短文的主題思想，其中還包

括為短文選擇最合適的題目和對作者的結論或意圖進行判斷歸納。這類題目主要着眼於對全篇總體上的理解。此類題常見的提問方式有：

What is the main idea/topic/subject/chief purpose of this passage?

What is the best title for this passage?

What does the passage tell us essentially?

What is the subject they are talking about?

What did the speaker mainly discuss/talk about?

這類題型要求考生根據所聽到的內容推斷出材料所暗示的.內容，例如：情節的發展趨勢，

作者的態度、傾向性等。推斷題考查思維的邏輯性，要求能夠以語篇為基礎進行合理的推測。該類題型常見的提問方式如下：

What will be dealt with in the following paragraph?

What does the passage probably imply at the end?

What can we learn/infer from the passage?

What does the author impiy by saying?

What does the story imply?

這類題型有兩個特點：一是難度高;二是邏輯性強。推斷題不僅要求考生把握原文信息，還要能夠在此基礎上合理地進行推斷。關鍵在於這個“合理”的尺度較難把握，因為大部分推斷題只要求在材料論述的內容範圍內進行推測。如何過多加入自己的理解，可能會超出材料內容，選出錯誤的結果。

All the housewives who went to the supermarket had one great ambition: to be the lucky customer who did not have to pay for her shopping. For this was what the notice just inside the entrance promised. It said:“Remember, once a week, one of our customers gets free groceries. This may be your lucky day!”

For several weeks Mrs. Edwards hoped, like many of her friends, to be the lucky customer. Unlike her friends, she never gave up hope. The cupboards in her kitchen were full of things, which she did not need. In vain her husband tried to dissuade her. She dreamed of the day when the manager of the supermarket would approach her and say:“Madam, this is your lucky day. Everything in your basket is free.”

One Friday morning, after she had finished her shopping and had taken it to her car, she found that she had forgotten to buy tea. She dashed back to the supermarket, got the tea and went towards the cash desk. As she did so, she saw the manager of the supermarket approach her. “Madam,” he said, holding out his hand,“I want to congratulate you! You are the lucky customer and everything in your basket is free! ”
