大學英語六級考試寫作高分必備之要求
字跡清楚，段落明朗：字體不要太大，也不要太小，以行間距的三分之一到二分之一為合適;另外，大小要一致，不要忽大忽小;字母的傾斜方向要一致，不要東倒西歪;要抵着給出的虛線寫，不能上竄下跳;總之，要給閲卷人清楚、工整的感覺。
內容完整，緊扣提綱：一般來説， 六級寫作都會給出三點漢語提綱，考生應嚴格按照三點寫成三段。不要有遺漏，也不要隨意改變提綱要點的順序。
首保正確，再求閃光：這一條是最核心的。要首先保證語法和拼寫正確，哪怕用小詞、短句也可以。有能力的話再追求閃光的詞句。其實作文中常犯的語法錯誤除了冠詞錯誤，還包括時態錯誤、名詞和動詞單複數錯誤、代詞不一致錯誤、詞性錯誤以及句子主謂不完整錯誤。
先總後分，連詞用上：這裏説的是段落的結構和連貫性的問題。英語文章特別喜歡先總後分或開門見山的格局，另外，段落之間和句子之間的形式連接手段特別明顯，即關聯詞用的很多。在寫作的時候，幾乎就是把給出的三點提綱作為每段的開頭句，然後再加上兩三個擴展句即理由或例證句就可以了。當然有時候為了論證自然或擴展字數也可以加上一點鋪墊的句子。
語言簡練，論據得當：不要囉嗦，不要過於重複和堆砌。另外，儘管內容不及語言重要，但也肯定會影響分數的。考生應儘量平時多練，以期在考場上也能很快想到一些有力的理由和貼切的例證。
檢查其實考生應該在下筆寫作的時候就謹慎，仔細，避免錯誤，但即便這樣，錯誤也是會有的，包括語法和拼寫錯誤，尤其對於平時缺乏練習的同學來説。那麼就需要留幾分鐘通讀一下，檢查和改正。還有改正錯誤要注意方式，儘量不要用塗改液或塗改帶，以免有作弊嫌疑，也不要在一個詞上塗畫太多，影響卷面整潔。一般可以用一條斜線劃掉錯詞，然後在其上方寫出正確的，或者用膠帶或刀片之類輕輕將錯詞去掉，然後在原位置寫出正確的.。
