第一題：Free-choice Independent Task
這道題準備15秒，説45秒。
1、要言之有物，不要空喊口號，客觀表達!
2、要扣題評述，表達主觀意見(正面)。
3、要以面帶點，不可縱向深入，因為：
(1)鋪開表達可以靈活搭配事先背誦的小點，不被具體題目限定。
(2)可以在句式結構上套用模板，沉着應對，並給人邏輯清晰的印象。
(3)可避免縱向層面語彙短缺所引起的錯誤表達。
(4)可避免不經意間走題。
Ex: Choose a teacher youadmire and explain why you admire him or her. Please include specific examplesand details in your explanation.
第二題：Paired-choice Independent Task
這道題準備15秒，説45秒。
1、同樣建議以面代點，不要縱向深入。
2、四種Reasoning:
(1) Core Node Reasoning
(2) "Devouring theOpposition" Reasoning
(3) Counter-exampleIllustration Reasoning
(4) Blocking (Declining togive opinion)
Ex: Some students study forclasses individually. Others study in groups. Which method of studying do youthink is better for students and why.

第三題：Dialogue-based R-L-SIntegrated Task
這道題通常是關於university policies, rules orprocedures; university plans; campus facilities or quality of life on campus的一些新的變化，對話中的一個人支持或者反對這個變化，並且給出理由，題目的要求就是複述其中一人的觀點並且列舉出這個人的理由(注意：不能説自己的觀點!)。問題類似於“State his opinion and explainthe reasons he gives forholding that opinion”。讀40-45秒(75-100 words)，聽60-80秒，準備30秒，説60秒。
1、對話題型重要原則：只聽一個人!
2、基本上對話結構是Q&A，總是針對A來設計題目。
3、概括記錄，以最佳復原效果為準。
(1)可用符號甚至中文，但確保不會換用“關鍵詞”。
(2)省紙，正反四折，一張搞定。
(3)關鍵句閲讀時可預見，內容預先記下，態度非正即反，不要靠當時具體去聽，只標+, -號。
(4)Supporting points可標上數碼，至少可以心理安慰。
(5)細節列舉可放過，特別不要在細節列舉遇到生詞時懊惱抓狂。
第四題：Lecture-based R-L-S IntegratedTask
讀和聽一段學術方面(life science, social science,physical science, and the humanities)的`文章，the reading passage一般是概括和抽象的學術語言，thelecture給出具體的例子、反例或者應用。題目一般是要求“apply the more general information you have learnedin the reading to the examples discussed in the lecture”。讀40-45秒(75-100 words)，聽60-80秒，準備30秒，説60秒。
1、Lecture題型其實只要求在閲讀預見內容的前提下複述講話框架。
2、記錄內容取捨很有彈性，下面兩者取其一：
(1)對數字敏感的記錄數字及準確的相關含義，用以佔據篇幅，避免連貫性動作描述。
(2)記錄連貫性動作描述，避免具體數字及準確的相關含義的表述。
此題型細分為兩種題型：
1、二元正負類：閲讀材料中的關鍵句之一有兩個對稱並列的概念性詞語(切記：通常是動詞!)
(1)在閲讀材料中找到兩個關鍵詞，聽力材料必然圍繞這兩個關鍵詞展開。
(2)在聽力中迅速判斷兩大關鍵詞的正負性質。
(3)根據兩大關鍵詞的正負性展開相關內容。
2、描述舉例類：閲讀材料中的關鍵句之一對文章題目進行描述，如果不是定義句，此關鍵句經常在定義句附近。
(1)閲讀時記下描述性的關鍵句，如果臨近定義句，同時記下定義句。
(2)聽到並記下舉例內容，特別是與關鍵句匹配的信息。
(3)根據具體例子反推驗證關鍵句，如閲讀時未確定，則在聽力中迅速判斷，從兩句中選中一句。
(4)整合閲讀與聽力筆記，套用句型，準備答題。
第三、四題Self-Assessment Checklist：

第五題：Practicum for L-S IntegratedTask
這道是Problem and Solution(P&S)題。一般是關於campus-related situation，兩個人討論a problem and two possiblesolutions. The problem一般是關於scheduling conflicts,unavoidable absences, unavailable resources, student elections, financialdifficulties, and so forth. 題目要求是“briefly describe the problemthat was discussed in the conversation and to state which of the two solutionsyou prefer, and finally to explain why you prefer that solution”，其中的reason可以是材料中提到的，也可以是自己的類似經歷。聽60-90秒，準備20秒，説60秒。
1、Problem往往不是單純的，而是複雜矛盾的，分幾個回合説完。
2、Solutions針對Problem不同層面提出，注意提煉中心句。關切性的話可以略去。
3、問題不用聽!每次都一樣!省下10-15秒整理筆記。
4、答題時不要忘記給出自己的Solutions，想不出來就選擇一個S提出的方案或把S提出的各種辦法按照輕重緩急排序，形式上不可缺少!
第六題：L-S Integrated Task
這道題是Summary題。聽一段學術方面(life science, social science,physical science, and the humanities)的lecture，問題一般是“explain the main concept orissue of the lecture, using points and examples that were given in the lecture”。聽60-90秒，準備20秒，説60秒。
1、捕捉每一層次中心句的能力非常重要。記錄要簡要清晰，便於復原。
2、文章結束，可以考問題整理筆記，問題本身具有綱要性，特別當聽到數字時。
3、關鍵學術語彙的聽辨和記錄複述是答題的重要挑戰。
