BEC小作文一般是寫便條、備忘錄、email，大作文一般是寫一份報告、書信、提議，要求分析數據，得出結論。因此，根據BEC寫作題型和要求的特點，與其説是背BEC寫作模板，不如説是熟記並活用BEC寫作套路和功能性句型。

以BEC大作文report為例，寫作套路introduction、findings和conclusion的常用句式就要牢記，比如:

The purpose of this report is to.../The report aims to...(introduction)

As regards to.../The key findings are summerised bellow...(findings)

I recommend to.../It was concluded that...(conclusion)

除了寫作套路中的`常用句式以外，BEC寫作中表達觀點、數字比較等的功能性句型也是需要熟練掌握的，比如：

It can be seen from the chart that ...

According to the graph, we see a different trend emerging.

建議每一種文體的模板只需熟記一種即可，常用句式和功能性句型可以多記一些不同的表達，以豐富寫作中的句式結構和表達方式，為寫作加分。

舉個例子，同樣是表達上升、增長的含義，就可以有以下多種表達：

... rose sharply from... to...

Rise gradually to about %.

The general trend appears to be increases.

We can see that... swell during the... hours, peaking at...

The point to note is the huge increase (in the number of)...

... had a much higher growth rate than... as a whole during that period.
