inative /imaginable /imaginary
這三者都是形容詞。 imaginative表示“富有想象力的，愛想象的”;imaginable是“可以想象得到的”，常與形容詞最高級或all，every，only等連用，可放在被修飾的名詞後; imaginary是“想象的，虛構的，假想的”。

dent /accident/ event
incident與accident，event都可以表示“事件”。accident多指造成損失的意外事故，如車禍等。固定短語by accident(=by chance)偶然; incident“事件”，一般指比較次要的事件，但也可指在政治上會引起國際爭端或戰爭的事件、事變，作為形容詞時，其相應的短語be incident to表“易發生的”;event指較重大的事件或歷史事件，複數形式表“時局”、“時事”。
