1. 增加詞彙量。熟練掌握常考場景詞彙，包括學習場景(選課、授課、考試、作業、論文、圖書館、科目)。背單詞必須做到糾正發音

2. 反覆記憶。

3. 耳朵熟悉。考生之所以覺得聽不懂，一是生詞太多，即便語速再慢，還是不知所云。二是速度跟不上，聽起來跟一鍋粥似的。

4. 單詞要有選擇地背。動詞和形容詞絕對要見一個背一個，因為動詞是一個句子的靈魂，形容詞表明立場、狀態和心情。此外，詞要一串一串地背，近義詞、同義詞、反義詞，這樣效率能提高許多。

還要注意詞的不同形式，比如miracle變成形容詞成了miraculous， autumn 變成形容詞成了autumnal， 用眼睛看可能不成問題，但是聽起來由於重音的變化，發而成了生詞。再次證明詞一定要音形同步，及眼睛和耳朵同步。

5. 掌握美音發音特點，注意連讀、吞音、音變。

6. 辨別句子中的重點詞、重讀詞、反覆重複的詞。

7. 熟練掌握語氣語調，判斷態度和立場。

8. 掌握出題規律，一邊聽，一邊判斷出什麼地方有題。

9. 練習邊聽邊記，不是逐字逐句都記，而是有題的地方才記，最後兩條是聽力功夫的最高境界。
