1.找到流程圖的過程，起點，終點。

2.按照步驟，分段描述，千萬不能省略任何一步。

3.找到圖上標出的已知動作，如果出現生詞，儘量猜測。無詞，用自己的語言。

4.切記!加入流暢合理的表示順序的關聯詞。

5.句型以主動為主，搭配被動，以及主語從句(例如：It canbe seen from the graph that…)。

6.時態要使用一般現在時。

　　引言段和結尾段的重要性

在流程圖的引言段和結尾段寫作中可以適當進行過程的階段劃分和總結，使文章的.構思上一個層次，擺脱“流水賬”的俗套。

要用好表示順序的連接詞(Sequencing Words)

既然是流程圖，就不可避免的要説明過程的各個步驟和先後順序，在這裏，大家要注意幾個詞。例如，表示過程我們通常用“process”或“procedure”，過程的各個階段和步驟我們可以用“stage”或“step”來描述。在談到第一個步驟時我們可以用連接詞“In the firstplace”、“To begin with”、“In the first stage”等引出。在進入中間的步驟時可以用“Then”、“Next”、“Afterthis/that”等，最後一個步驟可以用“Finally”或“Lastly”。當然，如果有一些平行的步驟我們也可以用“At the sametime”、“Meanwhile”等來引出。

以上這些詞如果用的太頻繁也會使文章顯得較為單調，我們可以使用從句的方法使各個步驟的描寫自然地銜接在一句話中。例如

When the cleaning is done, the bottles are conveyedto a glass factory wherethey are cut into glass pieces which are then poured into a furnace.

上面的句子用了when/where/which三個連詞，就把玻璃瓶回收的三個步驟”cleaning- cutting–heating巧妙地連接在了一起。

要學會使用被動語態

流程圖寫好的第二個關鍵是被動語態的使用。流程圖表現的是客觀的工作流程或事物發展的過程。因此，我們可以儘量避免用“We should/must/needto do sth.”的主動語態，改為“Sth. Should/must/needs to bedone”這樣的被動語態。被動語態和情態動詞的恰當搭配，可以使文章顯得更具有客觀、和學術化色彩。
