英語中表示比較的句型相當多，如果句型中插進了一個否定詞，其意義和用法就很難掌握。

　 better than：表示“和……一樣;實際等於……”，如：

He is no better than a beggar. 他實際上等於一個乞丐。

The invalid is no better than he was yesterday. 病人的情況和昨天一樣。

He has no better a say in the matter than I have. 他和我一樣在這件事上沒有發言權。

. . . any more than或no more. . . than：表示“同……一樣不”，如：
