據悉，《One Woman》(中文名《女人一家》)的歌詞靈感來源於聯合國婦女署在世界各地救助和支持女性的故事。聯合國婦女署的宗旨是倡導賦權女性和性別平等，希望藉助這首歌曲，讓更多的人瞭解聯合國婦女署的工作，鼓勵更多人加入到倡導性別平等的大家庭中。該歌曲由英國知名作曲家Graham Lyle(先後與邁克傑克遜和蒂娜特納等流行歌手合作)和Fahan Hassan 聯手創作。格萊美獎製作人Jerry Boys與歌詞作者Beth Blatt在倫敦完成歌曲的後期製作。
