朋友抓住我討論“浪漫”，我想了想説，浪漫是一個過程，雖然主角只有兩個人，但羣眾演員亦不可少。一方要給予另一方突如其來、意想不到的致命的驚喜，讓人欣喜若狂，感動涕零。別以為這就完事兒了。隨後，旁觀者羨慕得大呼小叫，當事人陷入經典的感動中，這樣才完成了浪漫的全活兒。説白了，浪漫需要有人欣賞，有人起鬨，有人告訴你：這就叫“浪漫”。
我這麼説，是因為有人告訴我，我就身處浪漫之中，而我卻毫不自知。有幸，20歲出頭妙齡的我，已挨班兒享受過了意外的燭光晚餐;4小時的長途熱線情話;999朵玫瑰和不大不小的鑽石戒指。掰着指頭一數，也算所謂“浪漫”了好幾回。
相識兩週年後的那個“2·14”，我剛走到自家樓下，就見三四個小夥子正在從一輛中型麪包車上卸下一籃長約2米、寬1米、高半米的玫瑰花。血紅的玫瑰叢中有淡粉玫瑰組成的“久久”兩字。樓下過往老小全都駐足觀看。幾個與我年齡相仿的鄰家女孩，更是驚呼“羅曼蒂克”。
這是我男友送來的，但是他卻沒有來。平日裏很少為我費心的他，總能在關鍵時刻，給予彌補。
再有，次次出差他都會帶回禮物。大到衣服、揹包、首飾，小到紙筆、信箋、零食，反正總有我這一份。傻里傻氣的我常不經意地帶出來，這是他從上海買的，那是他從日本帶來的。時間長了，人們就會覺得他還真給我買了不少東西，他真“浪漫”。
每逢聽我數落他，朋友便拿這些説事兒，根本不聽我的控訴就宣判罪名不成立。可在我心裏總是若有所失，我知道這話聽上去很有些無病呻吟，可我無法用這些東西的存在告訴自己我不需要他的陪伴和真心的交流。
女人都堅信：男人對你在金錢上的態度，就是他對你的最終態度。於是，肯不肯為你花錢成了女人衡量男人的惟一標準。這話不無道理。可金錢的數量是絕對的，浪漫的程度卻是相對的。
也許對一個月薪1000元的男人來説，買一件200元的禮物送給他的戀人已屬“浪漫”;然而對一個月薪5000元的男人來説，這顯然不算什麼，而且他可以讓他的司機開車去買，讓祕書提醒他什麼時候送，他一點兒都不用惦記。
如果浪漫只是用錢堆起來的，你的戀愛就已經被收買。當有一天，你們不再談愛情，而開始過日子，你將陷入痛苦的深淵。
浪漫是心不是金。別人羨慕你的是金，而這“浪漫”是不是由衷的，一切只有自己體會得到。
