In general, taking a part-time job is a great way to attain first-hand, introductory experiences of working in the real world and of networking with other people, as opposed to the solitary pursuits involved in studying. Also, students who work during their studies are more likely to master better time-management skills than their counterparts because they have to measure out their time to make sure they can complete every task before its deadline. After students graduate, their workplace experiences would be attractive to their future employers because they are more accustomed to the professional world and would require a shorter transition period.
积累素材对写作的'作用
材料对写作的主要作用是培养热情，注重积累，同时也可以有灵感。
材料作文是指命题者向考生提供某种具体材料，要求依据这些材料运用某种方式进行写作。材料的内容多种多样：有书面读物，有生活情景;有文字的、有图画的……考生要根据材料要求，针对材料特点和作文要求，进行写作。
写“给材料”作文，应该注意把握好以下几点：
一是认真阅读材料，准确把握题意。
正式写作前，首先要认真阅读这些材料，把握材料的内涵与要旨，搞懂命题所提出的写作要求，准确地理解和掌握题意，然后据此写作。否则，写起来就会发生偏差，不合命题要求，甚至出现离题现象。
二是紧扣材料要求，把握写作重点。
在读懂材料内容、明确写作要求的基础上，要紧紧围绕材料和要求来构思如何写作。除了要明确写作的文体要求之外，还必须紧扣材料的中心内容、正确把握写作重点，尤其是文题中的关键性词语所提示的写作要求。如果我们对材料所提出的关键内容理解不透、不深，题目中的限制条件也不能在文章中表现出来，应当写的重点都未写，就会使文章内容游离于材料和题目之外，这就不合要求了，自然不会写出好文章。
