相似的英語詞語辨析方法

into，in to

這一對詞很易混淆。

Into是介詞，它引導介詞片語，在句中用作狀語，表示進入之中或變成之意。例：

He fell into the pond．

他跌到池塘裏去了。

The explorers get into difficulties．

探險人員陷入困境。

The boss flew into a temper．

老闆發脾氣了。

The conjurer changed a handkerchief into a loaf of bread．

魔術師把手帕變成一塊麪包。

The rain changed into snow．

雨變成雪了。

In to的 in是副詞，同樣有進入的`意思，但 to 是介詞或不定式的標記；作介詞時，其後跟名詞，作不定式標記時，其後跟動詞原形。例：

Lets go in to look at the book show．

讓我們進去看看書展。

比較 Less go into the hall to see the exhibition．意思都是進入，但into為複合介詞。

Entries for the competition should be sent in to the editorial board before January 19th．

參加競賽的人要將名字在一月十九日前送到編輯部。

（這裏不能改用into）

需要注意的是，在某些場合下，into可以和in互換使用，但涵義不同。例：
