life is a box of chocolate,you never know what you will get. forrest gump made no decision by and for himself but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. the process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ,the caution, courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles. take myself as an example, i changed my major when i became a postgraduate. after the choice,days have been harsh for me.i cannot understand the new lessons at all. for they are closely related to mathmatics which i learned nothing about before. however wuth the belief that this is the great chance for me to experience new ideas and challenge myself,i persisted. i asked for help from every channel and reorgonized my life. gradually i could understand some parts and even found maths over, i learned to act instead of complaining. in retrospect,the choice left no trace in my mind but the happiness and bitterness of the past four months becomes an unforgetable experience in my life.

if kindness is added to a strange you will have a friend; but if hostility is added, you will have an enemy. if love is added to a pile of red bricks you will have a home, but if hatred is add to those bricks , you will have an concentration camp.
so my dear friends, never complain that life is boring and the world is disappointing. if don’t like the taste of your life, change the ingredients.
three year ago, i weighed more than 100 hundred kilograms which caused significant embarrassment and frustration in my life. like always failing my p.e examinations, like always being laughed at by girls, like being terrified to speak in public. it was my grandmother’s encouragement that revived from my passive attitude to become confident in myself. she said “ my dear, if you can’t change you figure, why not treat it as your own style. so i began to cautiously employ the new way of thinking. by choosing to change my outlook on life, i developed the confidence to make a difference and finally i found a totally new world.
so my dear friend, if faith, hope, love, endurance are added to your life, you will find the confidence to conquer your limitation and embrace new challenges. and hopefully with my speech included, you will have a fantastic speech contest.

the cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. but the cynics are wrong. the college students i see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. we help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.
the cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. but again, the cynics are wrong. we care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.
as college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. we all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. i believe in all my fellow classmates. though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. i believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. we are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. i believe in our future.

3.凡是想要一下子，把一件事情幹成的想法的人，就算他幹成這件事情，他也沒有基礎，因為等於是沙灘上造的房子，最後一定會倒塌，只有慢慢地一步一步把事情幹成的，每一步都給自己打下了堅實的基礎，每一步都給自己一個良好的交代，再重新向未來更高去走一步的人，他才能夠把事情真正地做成功。
4.你到底什麼最喜歡，應該去做什麼，當你決定了一輩子幹什麼以後，你就要堅定不移地幹下去，就不要隨便地換，你可以像一條河流一樣，越流越寬闊，但是千萬不要再想去變成另外一條河流，或者變成一座高山。
5.我們未來生活最重要的一個能力，叫做忍辱負重的能力，很多社會名流會遇到很多很多你不能忍受的事情，但是你不得不忍受，而不忍受就不可能成功，為什麼？因為你不忍辱負重，你就沒有時間，你就沒有空間，沒有走向未來的空間，如果你想走向未來，最後變得更加強大更加繁榮，你就必須要做好給自己留下足夠的時間和空間，輪到我們自己的生命要想為一個偉大目標而奮鬥的時候，你排除，也得必須排除你生命中一切瑣碎的干擾，因此你就必須忍辱負重！個人也是一樣的，你要想有偉大的大發展，你得為自己爭取時間，爭取空間，爭取未來，而爭取時間爭取空間爭取未來的一個最重要的前提就是，你有理想！但是你敢於忍受生活中出現的一切對你的不公平，或者是一切對你的你認為受不了的事情！
6.我有一個比喻，每一條河流都有自己不同的生命曲線，長江和黃河的曲線是絕對不一樣的，但是每一條河流都有自己的夢想，那就是奔向大海！所以不管黃河是多麼的曲折，繞過了多少障礙，長江拐的彎不如黃河多，但是她衝破了懸崖峭壁，用的方式是不一樣的，但是到了最後走到了大海。當我們遇到困難的時候，不管是衝過去還是繞過去，只要我們能過去就行，我希望大家能使自己的生命向夢想流過去，像長江黃河一樣能流到自己夢想的盡頭，進入寬闊的海洋，使自己的生命變得開闊，使自己的事業也變得開闊，但是並不是説你想流就能流得過去的，其實這裏面就具備一種精神，毫無疑問，這就是水的精神！我們的生命有的時候會是泥沙，儘管你也跟着水一起往前流，但是由於你個性的缺陷，面對困難的退步或者説膽怯，你可能慢慢地就會像泥沙一樣沉澱下去了，一旦你沉澱下去了，也許你不用再為了前進而努力了，但是你卻永遠見不到陽光了，你沉澱了下去，上面的泥沙會不斷地把你壓住，最後你會暗無天日，所以我建議大家，不管你現在生命是怎麼樣的，一定要有水的精神，哪怕

7.大家都知道西方神話中，有一個叫西西弗的故事，由於受到宙斯懲罰，必須從山腳下推一塊石頭推到山頂，當這塊大石頭被他推到山頂的時候，這塊石頭會自動滾落到山腳，他又不得不從頭開始推起，所以很煩惱！大家稍微想一下，我們日常的生活工作是不是就是這樣的一個過程，當他推石頭，把它當做一種懲罰來對待的時候，他心中會很難受，每天帶着怨氣怨恨在推石頭，就像我們很多人工作的時候，帶着怨氣和怨恨在工作一樣，你工作永遠做不好，但是當他後來意識到這一點以後，推過春夏秋冬，推過雷電風霜，當他推到山頂上，看到藍天更高更美，他覺得推石頭也是一種生命的美麗的時候，生命其實就得到了昇華。我們的生命什麼叫過得合算，當我們回頭看我們已經過去的日子，我們有一些日子能讓我們自己感動得淚流滿面，那什麼叫讓你淚流滿面的.日子，你做出了一些讓你自己覺得做不到，但是你做到了的事情。
8.我自己個人體會就是，如何能夠把生意做得更成功的幾個要點：第一要點，如何儘可能把自己的長期目標和短期目標結合起來，我們要先分清楚，哪些事情是我們想一輩子幹的事情，哪些事情是一下子幹完了我們就可以不用幹的事情。中國有句話叫做急事慢做，你越着急的事情，你做得越仔細越認真，越能把事情做好，而你越着急的事情做得越快，反而越做得七零八落。我把這個急事也把它叫做大事，比如説你要想一輩子掌握很高的英文水平，你説我用三個月，每天學十二個小時，你是絕對不可能，三個月，你的英文水平會得到很大的提高，但是三個月以後你不學了，再過三個月，你的英文水平就忘記了。第二個要素，就是要決定自己一輩子幹什麼，那麼還有一個我覺得非常重要的就是平時做事情的時候，對時間的計劃性，一個人是非常能動的，我在十幾年前做新東方的時候，我就覺得時間不夠用，我忙得手腳朝天，最後還發現事情做不完，我現在二十四小時做出來的事情，跟我那個十幾年前二十四小時手忙腳亂做出來的事情，是不可同日而語的。那麼為什麼還能忙得過來呢，道理很簡單，因為在你忙不過來的時候，你就知道如何去籌劃你的時間了，千萬記住一點的是，任何事情的時間，一定都是能夠擠出來的，那麼還有一個非常重要的，叫做成功就要你自我約束的，我是在五年前學滑雪的，剛上去的時候，就上雪地就摔上雪地就摔，後來我就發現不行，我得學會停，大家知道滑雪兩種停法，初學滑雪的人是外八字的停法，但是當這個滑雪的坡度，到達一定坡度的時候，這個八字形就完全不管用了，一定是要兩個滑雪板側過來側停，所以我就用了整整一個星期的時間，我就沒練滑雪，我就專門練停來着，我發現我的停已經做得非常好的時候，我就直接扛着滑雪板上了高級道，我有一個朋友，他覺得你能上我也能上，他這個滑雪道一邊是山坡，一邊是懸崖峭壁，結果他下去的時候，他由於停不住，就直接往懸崖峭壁那個地方衝過去了，衝過去他不就害怕嗎，害怕以後他就開始強行扭過來，一扭過來，一個腳扭過來了，另外一個腳沒扭過來，結果兩個腳一下就被撕開了，韌帶就被徹底拉斷了，任何時候，當你前面面對一個巨大的誘-惑，和其他任何可能產生誘-惑的時候，如果你自己覺得自己停不下來，您千萬別去追那個東西，因為你追了那個東西停不下來，最後栽跟頭的一定就是你！
9.偉大與平凡的不同之處是，一個平凡的人，每天過着瑣碎的生活，但是他把瑣碎堆砌出來，還是一堆瑣碎的生命！所謂偉大的人，是把一堆瑣碎的事情，通過一個偉大的目標，每天積累起來以後，變成一個偉大的事業！
10.有兩句話我是比較欣賞的：生命是一種過程；事業是一種結果。我們每一個人活是活在每一天的，假如説你每一天不高興，你把所有的每一天組合起來，就是你一輩子不高興，但是假如説你每一天都高興了，其實你一輩子就是幸福快樂的！有一次我在往黃河邊上走的時候，我就用礦泉水瓶灌了一瓶子的水，大家知道黃河水特別渾，後來我就放在路邊上，大概有一個小時左右呢，讓我非常吃驚的發現，四分之三已經變成了非常清澈的一瓶水，而只有四分之一呢，是沉澱下來的泥沙。那假如説我們把這瓶水的清水部分比喻我們的幸福和快樂，而把那個渾濁的那個泥，沉澱的泥沙比喻我們的痛苦的話，你就明白了，當你搖晃一下以後，你的生命中整個充滿的是渾濁，也就是充滿都是痛苦和煩惱，但是當你把心靜下來以後，儘管泥沙總的分量一點都沒有減少，但是它沉澱在你的心中，因為你的心比較沉靜，所以就再也不會被攪和起來，因此你生命中的四分之三就一定是幸福和快樂。什麼叫事業是一種結果呢，大家都知道，作為一件事情，確實是無情的，假如説我把新東方做失敗了，我是絕對得不到今天到這兒來給大家講話的機會的，原因是因為它最後的結果在這兒，所以任何事情只要你在做的時候，他就不能算成功，比如説我們説曹雪芹是成功的，不管是社會主義還是資本主義，都得承認曹雪芹是中國歷史上最偉大的文學家之一，我們説牛頓是成功的，不管哪一個國家任何一個人都會承認他是世界上最偉大的科學家之一，我認為我自己是成功的，不成功在新東方做了多大，也不成功在我有多少錢，或有多少朋友，我認為我成功在我有一種心態，過去我摔倒過千萬次，以後我也可能還會摔倒千萬次，但是我依然能夠爬起來。對於你做事情來説，事情的結果怎麼樣，在社會人的眼中，是成功的惟一的標準！
11.我想跟大家説的是，人的生命的道路其實是很不平坦的，靠你一個人絕對是走不完的，這個世界上只有你跟別人在一起，為了同一個目標，一起做事情的時候，才能把這件事情做成，一個人的力量很有限，但是一羣人的力量是無限的，當五個手指伸出來的時候，它是五個指頭，但是當你把五個手指握起來的時候，它是一個拳頭！
