白堤導遊詞

白堤原名“白沙堤”，是將杭州市區與風景區相連的紐帶，東起“斷橋殘雪”，經錦帶橋向西，止於“平湖秋月”，長約2裏。在唐即稱白沙堤、沙堤，其後在宋、明又稱孤山路、十錦塘。

唐代詩人白居易任杭州刺史時有詩云：“最愛湖東行不足，綠楊蔭裏白沙堤。”即指此堤。後人為紀念這位詩人，稱為白堤。
