一.賓語從句的含義

在主句中做賓語的從句叫做賓語從句。

如：She knew that the teacher had seen the film.

她知道這位老師看過這部電影。

“that the teacher had seen the film”做 knew 的賓語，同時又是由連接詞 that 引導的從句，所以它叫做賓語從句。

　二.賓語從句的分類

1. 動詞賓語從句：顧名思義，它是位於動詞後面的賓語從句。

如：He asked whose handwriting was the best in our class．他問我們班上誰的書法最好。

2.介詞賓語從句：顧名思義，它是位於介詞後面的賓語從句。

如：I agree with what you said just now.我同意你剛才説的話。

3.形容詞賓語從句：顧名思義，它是位於形容詞後面的賓語從句。

如：I am afraid that I will be late. 恐怕我要遲到了。

三.引導名詞性從句的連接詞

1. that:沒有含義，在賓語從句中不做成分

her/if:表示是否，在賓語從句中不做成分。

I don't know if /whether he still lives here after so many years. 我不知道這麼多年後，他是否還住在這裏。

3.連接代詞：what, which, who, whom, whose（在賓語從句中做主、賓、表和定語）

連接副詞：where, when, how, why（在賓語從句中做狀語）

The small children don't know what is in their stockings．（what 在賓語從句中做主語）

這些小孩子不知道什麼在他們的'長筒襪裏。

Could you tell me why you were late for the meeting this morning？（why 在賓語從句中做原因狀語）

你能告訴我為什麼你今天早上開會遲到嗎？

四.在做賓語從句的題目時應注意兩點

1. 時態：

①當主句是現在時態時，賓語從句可以根據需要使用任何時態。

I don't know when he will come back．我不知道他將何時回來。

He tells me that his sister came back yesterday．他告訴我他姐姐昨天回來了。

②當主句是過去時態時，賓語從句必須是一種過去的時態。

She asked me if I knew whose pen it was．她問我是否知道這是誰的鋼筆。

He said that he could finish his work before supper．他説他會在晚飯前完成工作。

③當表示客觀事實或普遍真理的句子做賓語從句時，任何時候都用一般現在時。

The teacher said that the earth goes round the sun．老師説過地球繞着太陽轉。

2.語序：任何從句都使用陳述句語序，賓語從句當然也不例外。

　延伸閲讀：賓語從句的引導詞有以下三種

1. 引導詞 that只起連接作用，在從句中不作句子成分，在口語中或非正式文體中常省略。

例如：He knew （that） he should work hard.

2. 引導詞 if/ whether，意為“是否”在口語中常用if，連詞if/ whether不能省略。

例如：Tom didn’t know if/ whether his grandpa liked the present.

3. 由疑問代詞和疑問副詞引導的賓語從句。

疑問代詞有：what，who，whom，whose，

which等，在賓語從句中主要充當主語、賓語、定語和表語等。疑問副詞有：when， where， why， how， 在賓語從句中充當時間、地點、原因、方式狀語。

例如：1） We don’t know who will win the match. （who作從句的主語）

2） The teacher asked the new student which class he was in？ （which作從句的定語）
