(2)感謝親密的朋友 (To an Intimate Friend)

在寫感謝信時,最好提到具體的禮物,不要寫:”Thanks for the beautiful gift,”

而應寫到具體的禮物,如:“Thanks for the beautiful lamp”。在信中最好描述一下已經把禮品放在什麼地方,何等好看等等。或者稱讚送禮品的人在挑選禮物時獨具慧眼,因為人們總是喜歡別人稱讚他/她具有很高的挑選能力

2.感謝聖誕節的禮品( Notes of Thanks for Christmas Gifts)

接到聖誕節禮品後,不應例行公事地寫一封草率的回信,簡單地表示“謝謝”就算完事了。而應表示出對禮品的珍視,表達出你的真正感激之情。因此,在感謝信中可以寫出禮品的特徵,而這種特徵又正是你所喜愛的,也可以説明這正是你想要得到的東西。還可以稱讚所送的禮品挑選的好,有眼力。
