春天（Spring）

又稱為春季，是一年中的第一個季節，北半球為公曆3、4、5月。而南半球卻是在十一月開始，如澳大利亞。春天氣候温暖適中，中國內陸大部分地區少雨，萬物生機萌發，氣候多變，乍暖還寒。

立春是春季的開始。自秦代以來，我國就一直以立春作為春季的開始。立春是從天文上來劃分的，而在自然界、在人們的心目中，春是温暖的，鳥語花香；春是生長的`，耕耘播種。在氣候學中，春季是指候（5天為一候）平均氣温10℃至22℃的時段。時至立春，人們明顯地感覺到白晝長了，太陽暖了。氣温、日照、降雨在這時常處於一年中的轉折點，趨於上升或增多。小春作物長勢加快，油菜抽苔和小麥拔節時耗水量增加，應該及時澆灌追肥，促進生長。農諺提醒人們“立春雨水到，早起晚睡覺”，大春備耕也開始了。雖然立了春，但是華南大部分地區仍是很冷“白雪卻嫌春色晚，故穿庭樹作飛花”的景象。這些氣候特點，在安排農業生產時都是應該考慮到的。春的信息在哪裏呢？那柳條上探出頭來的芽苞，“嫩於金色軟於絲”；那泥土中躍躍欲出的小草，等待“春風吹又生”；而為着奪取新豐收在田野中辛勤勞動的人們，正在用雙手創造真正的春天。
