1,話題導入新課接近生活，引起學生興趣，符合教學生活化要求。老師很好的調動學生積極性發言，練習學生口語。
2,板書與PPT結合,並且有擴展，例如：cartoon---cartoonist
3,本課為聽説課，很好的把握住了課本要求，但是可能外研版的課本較難，詞彙量較多，單詞有些偏難。
4,充分利用教學資源，計算機輔助教學模式，有效的提高了課堂效率。
5,應用三種不同聽力方式，首先合書本帶着一個問題聽，第二次打開書本多個問題帶着聽，第三次跟錄音機邊聽邊讀，層層深入，逐步加深學生對課文理解。特別是跟讀，可以糾正學生語音語調，提高口語能力。
6，四人小組討論，不僅可以拂去閲讀時的沉悶，同時可以調動學生積極性，活躍課堂氣氛，開闊學生思維，啟發學生自主思考問題能力。
