我簡直不敢相信自己的眼睛：只見姥爺捧着一本英語書一本正經的朗讀，表哥正在旁邊一邊認真地聽着，一邊點着頭呢！老爺讀完了，表哥就像一位小老師似地説：“學了這麼多，累了吧？學以致用，學英語主要為了應用。今天我教你一個單詞，注意我發音時的口形。yes！yes！也就是‘是’的意思。”

“yes！yes！yes···”老爺反覆認真的讀着，儘管念得不是很標準，可就他這年齡來看也夠好的了。

中午，姥姥做飯時，發現醬油用完了，看到姥爺坐在沙發上正悠閒的讀英語，就大聲喊着：“老伴，快去買醬油！”姥爺愣了一下，“醬······醬油？”然後醒悟似地馬上站起來，舉起手向姥姥敬了個禮，説了一聲：“Yes！”“耶絲，什麼是耶絲？”姥姥一臉疑惑，我和表哥卻忍不住大笑起來。
