點評：

該句中“優化”，“提升”以及“推動”是要點。英語書面語表達的一個特點是詞彙與詞彙之間的'固定搭配the optimization of …structure/upgrading of…quality以及複合謂語動詞的使用，即，動詞+名詞+介詞共同形成謂語部分：give an impetus to …

3. 一些企業產品質量和工藝水平已達到世界領先水平。

Some enterprises have already led the world with their superior quality and workmanship.

點評：

該句中“質量”，“水平”與動詞“達到”在英語中就不是正常的搭配關係，根據日本語言研究社的《英語搭配大辭典》，我們可以找到相關的合理組合，亦即上面的參考譯文，以“企業”作主語，“達到”作謂語，“水平”作賓語，“質量”與“工藝”作方式狀語(介詞短語)。我們在講課中曾講過這樣的句子：中國人民非常欽佩美國人民的開拓精神。The Chinese people appreciate the Americans for their pioneering spirit.而不要譯成：The Chinese people appreciate the pioneering spirit of the Americans.
