英語口語日常用語中英譯文

6 crush 原意為“粉碎”，現常指“暗戀”，又常指青澀少年的那種愛，並不穩定，例如，小女生對老師的愛戀，過一陣就煙消雲散。peter has a crush on jenny.

7 ask somebody out 與人約會，談戀愛：he doesn’t have the guts to ask her out because he is afraid she will turn him down. 他不敢告訴她他愛她，因為他生怕會遭到她的拒絕。類似的有go out with somebody: i heard you’re going out with jane. 我聽説了你在與jane談戀愛。

8 mr. right: 白馬王子，he’s gentle, patient, successful, and mature. i think he’s my mr. right! 他温柔體貼，有耐心，成功又成熟。我知道他就是我的意中人(我未來的丈夫非他莫屬;也可以説是真命天子)。(白馬王子的另一個説法：prince charming)

9 jack 對朋友john説，他剛剛與esther拜拜了，(i just broke up with esther.)john 安慰jack説, i don’t know what to say to comfort you, but cheer up! there’s plenty of fish in the sea and you’ll find your soul mate, your perfect match!
