　　區分though，although，as

eg：Although/though he is a child, he can live by himself.

as 表示雖然的時候，要進行倒裝;

Child as/though he is , he can live by himself.

eg：Although/though she works very hard ,she makes very little progress.

Hard as she works, she makes very little progress.

Although/though she is young, she has travelled to many countries to put shows .

Young as she is, she has travelled to many countries to put shows .

while：連接兩個句子，表示雖然，但是;

eg：He is experienced while he is young.

冠詞分不定冠詞(indefinite article)和定冠詞(definite article)兩種，一般無句子重音。

　　1)不定冠詞a，an

a) a和an均用在單數名詞之前，表示某一類人或事物中的"一個"，相當於漢語的"一"，但不強調數目觀念。

b) a用在輔音之前，an用在元音之前。如：a notebook一個筆記本，a cigarette一支香煙，an old man一位老人，an English class一堂英語課。

字母u讀作[ju:]時，由於第一個音[j]是輔音，故前面用a，不用an。如：a useful book一本有用的書，a university一所大學。字母h如不發音，第一個音又是元音，前面用an而不用a，如an hour [?n'au?]一小時，an honest [?n' nist] person一個誠實的人。

c) a和an在句中分別弱讀作[E]和[En]。

　　2)定冠詞the

a)表示某一類人或事物中的."某一個"或"某一些"，相當於漢語的"這"或"那"。

b)不論單數名詞或複數名詞，也不論可數名詞或不可數名詞，前面都可以用the。

c)在元音前讀[Ti]，輔音前讀[TE]。如the evening [Ti5:vniN] (傍晚)，the car [TEkB:] (汽車);在元音字母u發[ju:]和半元音字母。y發[j]時，仍讀[?TE]。如the unit [TE5ju:nit] (單位)，the yard [TEjB:d] (院子)。

　　英語中不定冠詞a (an)的用法

1)指一個人、動物或一件事物屬於某一類。如：

Xiao Xu's father is a miner.小徐的父親是礦工。(而不是其他工種)

Give me a ballpen , please.請給我一支圓珠筆。(而不是鋼筆或其他種類)

2)指任何一個人、動物或一件事物。如：

A steel worker makes steel.鋼鐵工人鍊鋼。(意即任何一個鋼鐵工人都鍊鋼)

A triangle has three angles.三角形有三個角。(意即任何一個三角形都有三個角)

3)指某人或某物，但不具體説明何人或何物。如：

He comes from a firm in Beijing.他來自北京某一家公司。

A young man wants to see you.有個青年人要見你。

A car stopped in front of the gate.一輛汽車停在大門前。

4)不定冠詞還可指"事物的單位"，如"每日"、"每斤"等。如：

Butter is 4 yuan a kilo.黃油四元錢一公斤。

He drove the car at 18 miles an hour.他行車速度為每小時十八英里。

The Chinese Export Commodities Fair is held in Guangzhou twice a year.中國出口商品交易會每年在廣州舉行兩次。

The doctor told him to take the medicine three times a day. 醫生叫他一天吃三次藥。
