託福寫作輔導提出的第一個階段，託福作文改錯是因為，其實很多中國的考友在一開始的時候，是充滿的各種各樣語法的錯誤的。當然，最為常見的錯誤還是主謂搭配不一致、自己憑空造詞，以及中式思維。

比如説如下一段：Obviously, it was an usual phenomenon spread all over the world. This phenomenon isn't a good trend to society and country. It can lead to people losing their personalities.

這裏面3句話，其實是一個完整的統一體，意思本身是非常連貫的，但是作者在寫的時候，由於英語實力不夠，因此把本句話寫得支離破碎。

首先usual就很少用來修飾phenomenon，因此這裏該把usual改為common。然後phenomenon的不定冠詞該是a而不是 an，因此又錯一處。然後spread本身應該是一個伴隨關係，因此要寫的話也該是spreading。但是，中國學生總是喜歡寫大而無當的東西，因此這裏不如把 spread all over the world直接刪掉。

第二句，就是典型中式英語的體現，isn't a good trend to society and country，翻譯過來是“對社會和國家來説不是一個很好的趨勢”，但是其實在這裏trend趨勢這個詞完全沒有必要，因為英文裏trend這個詞很少單獨出現，出現的時候也多是 but we can already spot more than a dozen new fall trends，這樣與另外一個詞合起來構成一個完整的'意思，因此這裏不如刪掉。

第三句，lead to people losing從語法上來説，就是錯的，應該是lead somebody to do something.

而且，這3個句子其實內部邏輯連接非常的緊密，因此，在儘量少修改原文的前提下，可以修改為：Obviously, it is a common phenomenon that leads people to lose their personalities, so it is not good for societies and countries.

這就是一個很典型的修改句子的過程，不經過這個過程，這個過程就像是一個打地基的過程，如果沒有的話，再向上提升就非常得困難。

第二個過程，就是提升託福作文的過程，其實哪怕作文裏所有的內容都沒有語法錯誤，但我們最多也就是23分的標準。要想繼續提升，就要讓自己寫的地道。

優秀範例的最後一句話“But it does not mean that recreational facilities take the second place. ”首先，“But it does not mean that”這個表達方法“這並不意味着”專門用來表示否定，中國考生就很少會用到，這個是該記在本子上的。然後的“take the second place”。

地道!十分的地道!直譯過來是“佔據了第二的位置”，不過真正的意思是“沒那麼重要”，但是將“But it does not mean that”和“take the second place”連起來用，就表示“這並不意味着XXXX不重要”，也就是肯定了XXXX的重要性!

修飾全句常用的副詞有：

obviously，undoubtedly，apparently，fortunately，clearly，unfortunately，incredibly，luckily，without doubt， surprisingly，frighteningly

這些副詞大多數表示説話人對全句的看法，在意思上相等與“It is …形容詞 that …”。
