【技巧一】文章框架
在聽文章的時候，考生應該慢慢梳理出文章的框架和脈絡，知道內哪裏會出現比較重要的內容，而哪裏又一般不是很重要。一般筆記左邊為重要內容，右邊則是細節內容，而且越是往右記越是細節，當然相對來説通常也越不是很重要。基本結構是：

【技巧二】通過信號詞找到重點句
因為篇章較長，很多考生往往堅持不到聽完就放棄了，所以在訓練時很重要的一個技巧就是培養將文章變短變小的能力。通過確定信號詞我們可以很快確定後面的內容是否重要，是否需要仔細傾聽，是否可以不聽，從而在避免長時間聽力練習的疲勞想象。現將各種信號詞分類如下：
第一：直接提示觀點、表遞進關係的信號詞

What I want to talk about is...
And most important,...
A major development...
Why it was so important...
A term for...
It can be defined in this way...
In other words...
In summary...

第二：對比轉折型信號詞，提示轉折後面的內容將非常重要
On the other hand...

第三：因果型、總結型信號詞，對上文往往是一種總結，後面信息往往非常重要

第四：表強調的信號詞
Definitely/extremely/obviously/infact/indeed/inanycase/absolutely/positively/surprisingly/emphatically/unquestionably/ without a doubt undeniably/ without reservation...
第五：表舉例的信號詞，通常只需要記住舉例中描述的對象,以及為什麼要舉例。至於細節通常可忽略不計

【技巧三】在重點句中抓住關鍵詞
在確定重點句以後，就要盡力記下關鍵詞。經過對大量題目的分析，我們發現名詞在其中佔大多數，原因很簡單：如果我們是命題者，為了準備四個選項或者填充題目，往往傾向於將原文的某些內容改寫，名詞由於很難可以被其他單詞替代，所以很難被改寫，可以幫助考生把握最重要的`信息，形容詞和動詞則分列二、三位。
重讀、重複、教師花時間較多講解的內容就一定是出題的題眼。
【技巧四】在學術討論中學生提出的觀點，尤其是教師同意的觀點，往往成為考試的重點。
【技巧五】在對話題目中，請儘量標記出是誰提出的了哪一個觀點，例如，可以使用"P"和"S"來標記。
【技巧六】重聽題目因為牽扯到紙面以外的意思，所以建議考生儘量多對這種題目做筆記，甚至於將有疑問的句子都寫下來，給自己更充分的時間思考。
