一、教學內容分析

U12 Did You Know? Additional Words

二、教學目標

（一）語言知識目標

1.拓展學生的課外詞彙或詞組：receiver, dial tone, , dial the number, speak up, press, refund button, get through.

2.瞭解電話的過去與現在：第一部電話的發明者，telephone的由來，及當今的電話發展。

（二）語言技能目標

1.能運用所學詞彙到句子中去。

2.能用英語説出打ID電話的過程。

（三）學習策略目標

通過網絡資料，錄像等向學生呈現電話發展歷程，吸引學生的注意力，激發其求學的慾望。

（四）情感態度目標

1.培養學生從小愛科學的精神。

2.讓學生了解更多的生活常識，從而培養學生熱愛生活的`態度。

三、教學重、難點

準確認讀Additional Words。

四、教學策略

通過歌曲、謎語，激發學生學習的慾望，並運用多媒體向學生展示電話的發展進程。

五、教學過程

（一）熱身與複習

小詩朗誦。（激情引趣。）

聽力訓練。（通過練習，強化學生聽的能力。）

聽對話三次，根據聽到的內容填寫表格。

（二）呈現與操練

方法一：

1.謎語：老師讀出謎語，讓大家猜一物品。（適當設疑，引發學生的好奇心。）

It’s our good friend in our life. You can talk on it with each other. It can’t talk. When someone wants to talk with you it can sing “ring, ring, ring.” What is it?

謎底：Telephone

2.拼讀單詞Telephone，呈現書本P55 Did You Know?

The word “telephone” comes from the Greek works: “tele” and “phone”. “Tele” means “from far”. “Phone” means “sound”.老師邊拆分單詞，比用英文解釋，讓學生理解當中的意思。為檢測效果，可提問個別學生。（學生對此類知識有較濃厚的興趣，通過理解，運用策略記憶單詞，收效較好。）

3.展示各種電話的圖片（可從網上下載）呈現書本P55 Did You Know? C。

認讀單詞 mobile， 讓學生從圖片或實物（老師的電話）中理解其中文意思。

並作文字介紹：About 58 million people in Britain use around 80 Million telephones and mobiles. Many people prefer the old-fashioned telephone boxes to the modern ones. (通過閲讀及觀看圖片，有利於幫助學生理解這段話的含義。)

4.通過電腦，呈現第一部電話的圖片，並向學生介紹：This is the first telephone. Do you want to know who invented it?接着老師可呈現Alexander Graham Bell 的相片,並詢問同學們：Do you know this man?如果個別學生認識的話，可讓其用中文先介紹一下他，老師再作介紹。（這對於學生的理解有一定的幫助。）幫助學生理解以下單詞或短語：a 28-year-old, black-haired Scotsman, invent

方法二：

1. 通過錄像，向學生播放撥打ID電話的過程。（讓學生先感知，為下面的學習與理解做好鋪墊。）

2. 幫助學生理解和認讀課外詞彙或詞組：receiver, dial tone, , dial the number, speak up, press, refund button, get through.

（可讓學生自主拼讀，從而培養其自學能力。）全班齊讀單詞。

3. 小組比賽：把單詞放進對應的句子中，並幫句子排序。（提高學生理解、運用語言的能力。）讀句子。

(三)拓展與提高

1.完成活動手冊P51,Ex.5，P52,Ex.6

2. 練習。

讀下面的句子，根據實際情況，判斷句子的正誤，如正確，在括號內寫T，否則寫F。

聽U12 Did You Know? & Additional Words錄音，跟讀。

蒐集更多的電話資料，製作手抄報。

完成拓展閲讀P52, 根據提示寫出你是如何打電話的。

六、教學反思

學生對科學的追求比較旺盛，課堂容易失控，但還是應該提供讓學生充分展示的平台，讓其在鍛鍊中獲取自信，從而提高各項能力。
