英語詞彙：無聊約會中的“解困來電”

被家人逼着去相親，為了能儘快脱身，你提前跟好友商量好，讓他/她在15分鐘後給你打電話，然後你就可以佯裝有急事提前離開了。這樣的事情有多少人經歷過呢?在英語中，這樣的電話叫escape call。

Escape call is a planned call or beep from a co-worker that allows you to feign an emergency in order to escape a particularly boring or meaningless meeting, or from a friend that helps you escape from an unsatisfying, even embarrassing blind date.

Escape call就是無聊會議期間接到事先安排好的同事來電，好讓你佯裝出緊急狀況逃離那個會議;或是相親過程中朋友打來將你從尷尬約會中救出的'那通電話，我們統稱為“解困來電”。

Reasons for the call can be various, such as a neighbor calling about a leaky pipe; a mother informing that a sister just had a baby; or a boss saying he needs help immediately.

這種解困電話編出的由頭很多，可以是假裝鄰居打來説你家水管漏水了，假裝你媽媽來電説你姐姐生小孩了，或是假裝老闆來電要你立即趕過去幫忙等等。
