畢業後我登上了講台，成為了一名國小英語教師。每天上班都面對着熱情朝氣，充滿期待的孩子。看着他們天真無暇的面孔，看着他們渴望求職的炙熱的目光，還有那信任和敬仰的神情，我愛上了教師這個職業。我的使命感、責任感、緊迫感和自豪感一起湧來，縈繞心間，化作一股動力，激勵着我不斷追求着，為成為一名具有人格魅力的教師而努力。

“教書育人”是我們教師的使命。我們既要教書，又要育人。而第斯多惠説過“教學的藝術不在於傳授本領，而在於關於激勵、喚醒、鼓舞。”我對此深有體會。鄉鎮的教學工作，單單去研究如何進行教學還不行，我們更多的是主動積極地去爭取家庭教育和學校教育的緊密聯繫，家長的教育意識畢竟不如城裏的家長。而對於學生，我們更多的要給予關愛，尤其是一些比較“野”的學生，不容忽略某一個學生，要獨具慧眼地發現他們身上的`潛能，鼓勵他們不斷主動探索，發揚民主精神。
