　　表達難點

1.第1句中的“贈送禮物應考慮具體情況和場合”不能直譯成presenting gifts should consider the specific situation and occasion，因為在英語表達習慣中，consider的施動者應該是人而不是事情，故翻譯時應增加代詞we或one作主語。

2.第4句中“在這種情況下”既可譯為in this case，也可譯為in/under the circumstances, in such a situation等。狀語“再一次”可譯作once again，並按英語的表達習慣置於句末。

3.翻譯倒數第2句時，可套用not…until(直到……才)句型，譯作the recipient won't…until the guest leaves.
