附：如何訓練英語聽力?
一、聽正常語速的英語，才能加速聽力的`進步
聽慣了語速放慢的英語，在與外國人的實際交往中，就很難適應，甚至聽不懂他們用正常語速講的英語。故意放慢語速時，通常會把一句中每個詞都清楚的讀出來，但在正常的會話中會出現很多同化(assimilation)，減弱(reduction)，連音(liaison)的現象。所以，聽語速正常的英語對於聽力和會話極為重要。
二、從電視，電影中學習英語
看英文電視，電影不僅能瞭解西方人的文化和生活，而且也是學習地道英語和提高英語聽力的好機會。選取的影片最好是以現代生活為背景的文藝片或喜劇片。如果您的聽力不錯，要養成不看字幕的習慣。程度稍差的就不要勉強自己，否則英語沒學成反倒破壞了欣賞電影的好心情。這種情況下，您可以先看字幕瞭解劇情(如果是電視節目那就要先錄下來)，再重新看一至數遍，您的聽力就可在輕鬆的心情下，隨着您對劇情瞭解的增多而迅速提高。
三、和朋友模仿國外影片情節
在英語學習中，我們經常會與朋友或同學相約用英語交談來提高英語會話能力，但經常感到自己的語言貧乏，所談內容有限。現在不妨試試新東方的影片情節模仿方法：配合前節所講的“從電視，電影中學習英語”，先依據電影情節節選一個或多個片段，個人選定一個角色，然後在影片看熟之後試着把台詞謄錄成文字並背下來，最後進行排練演習。經常做這種練習，不僅對英語會話和聽力大有好處，而且對語法和寫作也是很好的鍛鍊。
